In September, we will welcome you to our specialised Dry Eye Clinic, dedicated to the comprehensive care of patients experiencing dry, irritated, or uncomfortable eyes. Murray will be using the latest diagnostic tools and advanced treatment options to address the root causes of dry eye, tailoring the solutions to suit the individual needs. We are creating a welcoming environment where each patient can receive a thorough assessment and guidance. Whether you are dealing with persistent dryness, seasonal irritation, or chronic eye discomfort, we’re here to help. The clinic will provide a full range of services, from in-depth evaluations to personalised management plans, ensuring that every aspect of your ocular surface health is addressed with care and expertise. We have equipment arriving from interstate in the coming weeks and our Keratograph arriving from Germany in September. We are also installing a Video Slit Lamp System for high-definition visualisations, allowing you to see the state of your tears and ocular surface health first-hand.. The infra-red meibiography of the Keratographer allows you to see the anatomical appearance of your meibomian glands, which are the source of the lipid component of your tears. It also provides for evaluation of tear quality and osmolarity, which guides us in formulating a personalised treatment and management strategy.
